It will use external assets as opposed to assets linked in the binary meaning they will be able to distribute binaries, you just have to provide your dumped ROM to have the assets extracted by their provided tool. This port uses n64-fast3d-engine, the same microcode rendering back-end as the Super Mario 64 PC port and has out of the box support for OpenGL, DirectX11 and DirectX12. In the middle of December of the same year developer group Harbour Masters started working on a PC port dubbed Ship of Harkinian.
